In this 4 hour class, learn how to pattern and sew a square, rectangle, and round throw pillows. You will learn what zippers to use and techniques for installing them. We will also touch on adding flair to your pillows with decorative trim.
In this Throw Pillow Workshop I will be starting from the ground up covering the following topics:
- Teaching you how to create a pattern for a square pillow, a rectangle pillow, and a round pillow.
- I will teach you about different insert options for your pillow.
- I will teach you how to add decorative trims or welting to add flair to your pillows.
- I will teach you how to work with different types of zippers and choosing the right one for your project.
- I will teach you the different techniques for installing zippers on your pillows.
For this class, you will need to have your own sewing machine, a basic understanding of sewing, and being comfortable with using your machine.
